Create your squad

Set up a group — venue, kick-off time, session cost. Schedule one-off or recurring games. Invite players by phone number.

Availability ping

When a game is scheduled, the app automatically asks your group who's in. Players confirm or decline in one tap & make payments in-app — no WhatsApp thread needed.

Pick teams

Organiser sees the confirmed list, assigns captains, and captains pick their teams in-app. Team sheet goes out to everyone instantly.

Play and pay

Log goals & assists live on the sideline. After the game, all participanting ballers get match stats and vote for who is player of the match. Pitchside Fives handles the venue payment directly.

Transparent, simple cost splitting.

Pitchside Fives processes payments exclusively through PayFast, South Africa's leading payment gateway. All transactions are peer-to-peer cost splits for recreational football sessions.

  • Gateway All payments processed securely via PayFast. No card details stored on Pitchside Fives servers.
  • Model Pitchside Fives books and pays the venue directly. Players pay their share of the pitch hire cost through the app.
  • Refunds Full refunds issued automatically if a session is cancelled by the organiser before kick-off.
  • Methods Credit card, debit card, Instant EFT, SnapScan, Zapper — all PayFast-supported methods accepted.

Policies

Clear rules, no surprises.

Refund Policy

  • Full refund if the organiser cancels the session before kick-off.
  • No refund for players who confirmed but do not show up.
  • Partial refunds at organiser discretion for late cancellations.
  • Refunds processed within 5–10 business days via original payment method.
  • A R2.00 (excl. VAT) PayFast processing fee applies per refund transaction.

Privacy Policy

  • Personal data (name, phone, email) collected solely to facilitate game organisation and payments.
  • No data sold to third parties.
  • Payment information handled entirely by PayFast — not stored on Pitchside Fives servers.
  • Location data used only to show nearby venues and is never shared.
  • Users may request data deletion at any time via support.

Terms of Use

  • Pitchside Fives is a platform for organising recreational football sessions.
  • Pitchside Fives is responsible for collecting payments, booking and paying venues directly on behalf of the group.
  • The app facilitates cost splitting among confirmed players to recover venue costs.
  • Users must be 18 years or older to make payments.
  • NT&O Analytics PTY Ltd reserves the right to suspend accounts that misuse the platform.

Security

  • All data transmitted securely over HTTPS/TLS.
  • Authentication via industry-standard OAuth 2.0.
  • Payment flows handled server-side ensuring security and compliance.
  • No sensitive financial data stored in the app or on our servers.
  • POPIA compliant — South African data residency maintained.
