Community Guidelines

Pitchside Fives connects people to play 5-a-side, 6-a-side, and 7-a-side football together – on the pitch and in the App's game chat. These guidelines set out what we expect from everyone in our community, in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Play Fair, Play Respectfully

• Treat every player, host, and venue with respect – before, during, and after a game.
• Show good sportsmanship on the pitch: no fighting, cheating, or intentionally dangerous play.
• Communicate honestly about your availability. If you can't make a game, cancel your spot as early as possible so someone else can take it (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).

2. In-App Chat

Game chat exists to help players coordinate logistics (arrival time, kit colours, directions, etc.). When using chat:

• Keep messages relevant and respectful.
• Do not share another user's personal information without their consent.
• Do not use chat to harass, threaten, or send unsolicited commercial messages.

3. Prohibited Conduct

The following will not be tolerated on the App or at games organized through it:

• Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic
• Threats of violence or abusive behaviour toward other players, hosts, or venue staff
• Repeated no-shows without cancelling your booking
• Impersonation of another person or misrepresentation of your identity
• Sharing another user's personal information without consent
• Any conduct that would violate our Terms of Service

5. Consequences

Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, we may take action including:

• Issuing a warning
• Temporarily suspending your account
• Permanently terminating your account, in accordance with Section 7 of our Terms of Service
